Hello, Families.
On this page you will find descriptions and links to things that are considered "grade level" and that your child is or has been working on in class. We would expect things posted here to be able to be done with a reasonable level of consistency and accuracy. You will find links to practice activities; sometimes websites and sometimes pdf files that you can download or print off. I will also try to post lower level activities to correspond with tasks if you as a family are willing to build skills at home to improve skills that may still not be consistent with your child.

MATH
Basic Facts
This is an ongoing area of focus that we repeatedly revisit in our class. All of our math activities involve a solid foundation of basic facts knowledge. The hope is that your child is fluent and "automatic" when they are computing basic facts. It is normal at this point for students to be much more fluent with subtraction and addition basic facts as they have been exposed to them longer. Looking for best possible performance, it shouldn't take your child much longer than two seconds to produce an accurate answer to a basic facts question. Flash cards can be a great tool to use at home. I have also posted pdfs of sheets that you can practice with at home if you like. Your child should also be able to use some of the sites we practice on at times that are found on our Math page.
